A project with the potential to significantly improve the state of education, counseling, and coaching has been announced at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (IP Santarém) as a direct result of Empowered Startups’ HQA Visa Program. Entrepreneur Huu Tri Nguyen has partnered with IP Santarém on this innovative endeavour, which aims to develop a process to provide the world’s latest curriculum to teachers and trainers across the globe. This high-potential R&D project will explore the use of Artificial Intelligence and other leading technologies as mechanisms for improving the delivery platforms by which relevant, up-to-date information can be distributed to and easily understood by instructors and students.
Education for Everyone
Nguyen’s wealth of experience in education and communication has fueled his interest in advancing the state-of-the-art in online learning through this ambitious new project at IP Santarém. He spent several years as an effective leader for Kumon Oceania, one of the world’s largest education franchises, before leaving to set up his own business in education and training, focusing on online channels as a means for reaching out to students and customers globally. Nguyen has since created a substantial network of millions of followers of his work by successfully growing his online presence across multiple social media platforms including TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
Investing in Portugal
Already a successful investor in technology in Vietnam, Nguyen joins a quickly growing contingent of transnationals who are directly investing in Portugal through Empowered Startups’ HQA Visa Program. As the only government-endorsed delivery partner of the HQA Visa Program, Empowered Startups has already delivered more than €5 million of direct investment to Portugal. President Chris Lennon expects Empowered to facilitate over €50 million of foreign direct investment to the country over the next few years, a message he presented to Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro in June.
