Empowered Startups is thrilled to announce that its venture in incubation, Kitchen Guard Innovation, has secured its first pilot project with Broli Kitchen, a fusion restaurant located in Richmond, British Columbia. This exciting partnership marks a significant milestone for Kitchen Guard Innovation (KGI) as it embarks on its mission to revolutionize industrial kitchen safety and efficiency.
KGI uses an IoT (Internet of Things) monitoring system to monitor industrial kitchen equipment, environmental conditions such as humidity and carbon monoxide levels, as well as fridge and freezer temperatures. Additionally, it ensures workplace safety by alerting managers to potential hazards, thereby preventing accidents before they happen.
The Beta Project
The collaboration between KGI and Broli Kitchen will include a personalized kitchen setup that is unique to the specific needs of Broli Kitchen and incorporate 24-hour monitoring, easy to access data from the designated app, and a monthly analysis report with real-time data and advice. Broli Kitchen will be provided with KGI’s state-of-the-art monitoring systems to enhance worker safety, ensure safe food storage, and identify potential risks.
KGI’s innovative service delivers several benefits to businesses in the food industry. By implementing this cutting-edge technology, companies can cut costs and pinpoint areas for improved worker safety. Moreover, the system offers superior risk monitoring, which is crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
This pilot project represents the first beta test for KGI. Over a three-month trial, the team will rigorously test the technology and gather user feedback to refine the system. The insights gained from this trial will be invaluable as KGI plans to expand its services across the Lower Mainland and beyond.
“Teaming up with Chef Li is an amazing opportunity for Kitchen Guard Innovation. His genuine excitement about Kitchen Guard Innovation’s cutting-edge technology is truly inspiring. With Chef Li’s support, we’re set to revolutionize kitchen management and take it to new heights”.
