Mass adoption of online learning created needs for a new teaching experience
With the onset of the pandemic at the end of 2019, classroom-based education was thrust into turmoil. The closure of schools required a quick shift to online learning and teachers had to change their techniques as they transitioned into distanced instruction. Schools were using a combination of solutions to rapidly put together an online education experience. However, the existing solutions, such as video conferencing software that cater to meetings and presentations, were not equipped to provide the level of interaction that would engage K-12 students.
Fortunately, GoAmazing created a whole solution that enables teachers to deliver live online classes in a way that increases student interaction and supplement them with video lectures, discussions, quizzes, assignments, and projects, which can be accessed on-demand. This hybrid model as made it easier for schools to switch between online learning and in-person classes as schools have had to shift back and forth to follow changes in public health orders throughout the pandemic.
