Multiple media outlets are reporting on the growing success of Empowered Startups’ HQA Visa program in Portugal. Various publications devoted coverage to highlighting the substantial amount of business Empowered Startups has attracted to Portugal, which has welcomed 56 entrepreneurs and over three million Euros of foreign direct investment via the HQA Visa program.
Dinheiro Vivo, which chronicles Portugal’s economy, emphasized Empowered Startups pledge to delivering 250 entrepreneurs and over 10 million Euros of investment by 2025, while also noting Empowered’s impressive list of higher education partnerships and its commitment to help bolster the country’s interior regions.
In addition, the multinational focuses its action mainly on territories in the interior of the country, where it has already attracted projects related to disruptive technologies, such as machine learning or artificial intelligence, but also in areas such as cybersecurity or nutrition.
Empowered was also featured by national online platform, Executive Digest, which noted the recent announcement by Clairvoyant Therapeutics regarding its plan to use Empowered’s incubator in Portugal to establish its European headquarters.
It should be recalled that just this month Empowered Startups reached an agreement in principle for the installation of the new European headquarters of Clairvoyant Therapeutics in Portugal, a biotechnology focused on the development of psilocybin therapies for the treatment of alcoholism.
As an increasing number of entrepreneurs follow this same path to Portugal, expect Empowered Startups to become a familiar name to those who follow European news and trends in global business migration.
